After discussion of video lessons, participants will see the self-determination and how adversity did not stop our ancestors as they continued to ‘rise and build” as worthy contributing citizens when opportunities were equally available, they will choose to engage voluntarily, in further research for additional materials, suggestions, and ideas generated from interactive discussions of our ancestors’ (men, women, and children) essential historical roles in building America, then and now…

After completion of activities required of participants for each lesson and activity, they will be more cognizant of the need to acquire, use, refine, and improve their basic academic literacy knowledge… spelling, reading, listening, writing, speaking, following directions, and other basic communication skills…

After watching videos and witnessing other groups of American citizens, performing Lift Every Voice and Sing, from many races, ethnicities, ages, levels of professions, etc., they will express a greater personal sense of patriotism and responsibility to help “America’s promise of liberty and justice for all” to become a reality, thru hope, faith in a Supreme God, and unity…
